TORRENS ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATES is a group of five independent orthopaedic surgeons in private practice offering a high level of expertise and commitment to patients.

All associates also have a commitment as visiting orthopaedic consultants to the Public Teaching Hospitals, in association with the University of Adelaide.

Each consultant has a general interest in orthopaedics and trauma, and also an area or areas of special interest.

GUIDELINES

TOA has also prepared some Guidelines to assist in referring patients. The guidelines give an indication of which patients would benefit from being referred immediately and which can be initially or completely managed by their General Practitioners.

There are also guidelines to investigations which could be conveniently undertaken prior to referral.
